Tripod for Spotting Scope

I'm looking for advise for a tripod to put under a new spotting scope. It weighs close to four lbs. Whats good?

I use Slik tripods never had a problem.

Manfrotto tripods and heads are used by many serious hawk watchers. They are of excellent quality. 

Bogen, I believe, is a Manfrotto product.

I think I bought mine from Eagle Optics.

Look at the best you can afford, then buy the next step up from that. It's one of those 'buy once, cry once' purchases that you won't regret. The tripod I still use was kind of a 'cheapo' at the time, but 45 years ago even 'cheapo' was pretty darn good.
