adkhunter71
Are there any other members on here that belong to the NY Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers? I know of myself and at least one other member on here but was curious if there is anyone else that belongs to the group. Basically it is a great group of people who support public lands access throughout the country as well as hold various events throughout the state. We have several clean-ups that we are working on setting up throughout the state, are creating a hunting for sustainability mentorship program as well as having pint nights all over the state where we get together and talk all things hunting and fishing while drinking good beer (who doesn't love that?). If anyone is interested, we have a pint night coming up on March 8th at Fette Sau in Brooklyn https://www.backcountryhunters.org/brooklyn_pint_night as well as our annual NY State Chapter Rendezvous on April 28th at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum in Livingston Manor, NY. We will have great raffles and door prizes at the events and we are working on more exciting things in the future. We also have a facebook page where you can get additional information as well as announcements of upcoming events. Just do a search on facebook for New York Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (I tried to link to the page, but for some reason it didn't work on here). Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or would like to join. Or just stop by at any of the events...you don't have to be a member to attend. Hope to meet some of you at our upcoming events! Thanks for giving this a look- Tom
