Orioles

We have had some Orioles this spring that have been returning for the past 3 years .

Lucky you!...never had them stop here get lots of odd birds but no feeders up this year to to bear problems....

That's awesome! I got a few hanging around here too.

First year I ever really payed any attention to them.

After some quick research I found out they really like orange halves and grape jelly over seed.

Keeps them coming back to my feeders over the neighbors but I aint telling him my secret! ;D

I had put out my Hummingbird feeder and the male oriole was coming to it . So , I put up the oriole feeder but he kept coming back to the hummingbird one . When the female showed up , they started hitting the suet . Beautiful birds !

I see orioles flitting around in the trees all summer.  I never knew there was oriole suet.  I will have to put out a feeder.
