Daughter impresses me again. This past deer season she passed on a slam dunk for a deer hunt , kid who replaced her spot for youth session shot a decent buck. She ended up shooting a decent buck ( first deer ) on thanksgiving morning. Text just came through from friend. 3-5 birds yammering each morning and could sit inside 100 yards. No such thing as slam dunks but as I thought she might , said to decline and thank friend. She wants to hunt our new turkey spot and have chance at bird I shot tree. She makes me proud.( for a lot of reasons ) So Monday is our last chance this spring for her first bird.

She makes alot of us proud too Jay. She's wise way beyond her years. It ain't always about the kill. Wish I had her mentality, when I was her age.

Wishing you both the best of luck, for a great hunt, and sweet redemption!!!

Dad done raised her good.  Your gonna be a proud Dad either way but hope treebird is gonna pose for a pic with you two.  Good luck.

Plus maybe with all those gobblers over at the other spot she won't be able to get a good nap in. Lol.

Best of luck.  That's a great story to be proud of.
