Some of the quotes of Governor Andrew Cuomo are:

 ·         “New York will not be intimidated by the NRA’s frivolous lawsuit to advance its dangerous gun-peddling agenda,” 

 You will have your day in court Andy.

·         “If I could have put the NRA out of business, I would have done it 20 years ago.”

Are you against the First and Second Amendment Cuomo, you know the ones in the Constitution that YOU took an oath to defend against all enemies foreign and domestic as a public servant?

·         “The NRA is an extremist organization. I urge companies in New York state to revisit any ties they have to the NRA and consider their reputations, and responsibility to the public.”

Cuomo can you define what constitutes an “extremist organization” and what other organizations are on your “extremist organization” list?

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a legal brief last Friday backing the NRA in it's lawsuit against Andrew Cuomo and NYS. Their brief states that Cuomo's actions infringed on the NRA's first amendment free speech rights. This could get interesting!

Pretty sad that it has come down to this in New York....

Let's penalize, restrict and enforce injustice against legal citizens while criminals, drug abusers and violent crime abounds...

The safe act seems to be working very well in the state's capital of Albany.

They even called for a "cease fire" last weekend in the city.

Cuomo has no respect for any part of the US Constitution or anyone's individual rights.  No leftist does.  The goal is complete power and control.  They believe that is what they need to solve all of the world's problems.  Every tyrant in history believed that.

The ACLU would never defend anyone's 2nd Amendment rights, but since Cuomo has crossed the line with an attack on 1st Amendment rights, they feel they must respond, otherwise they can see this action being used against everyone else.  The supporters of the ACLU would never tolerate that, so the ACLU must act. 

They have always believed taking away 2nd Amendment rights would not threaten anyone but gun owners.  Now that they are seeing how 2nd Amendment rights are being attacked with elimination of 1st Amendment rights, they may be seeing it's about taking ALL of our rights, not just gun owner's rights.
