sits in trees
Freakin Chinese rubber. Bought some tires at Harbor Freight for a hand truck recently and the smell smacked you in the face every time I walked in my garage
BizCT
Man they stink when I take them off. wear smartwool socks and don't feel like my feet are sweating but obviously they are. I tuck my pants into them assuming the stink is somewhat contained but..... Ideas/suggestions ?Don’t wear your boots to scores on Transit rd. The stripper juice is dripping into your boots. That’s the root of the stank!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RangerClay
Odor is created from bacteria and moisture feeds bacteria. Get yourself in a habit of putting your boots on a Peet boot dryer everytime you come in from the woods. It works for me. nyslowhand
Any new rubber boots will stink, some more than others. I always scrub the exterior of new rubber boots with scent-free soap, either shower or laundry and use a ScotchBrite pad. Insides get liberal dosing of scent-free spray. Then hang them with a rope looped over a tree branch, upside down for a couple of weeks, or more. I can't comment on smells after using them. Guessing my feet don't sweat &/or stink, at least to me. Although I have used that scent-free powder inside my rubber boots a few times each year.
