Deer age - bottom jaw

7 point (8 with broken brow tine) from 8H I got last weekend.  Area has good nutrition and genetics.  Buck weighed 148 field dressed.  I’m assuming it’s a healthy 2.5 year old.  Do the teeth agree??  (I don’t know much about deer teeth)

some deer are hard to tell 2.5 from 3.5 by the teeth.   This one seems to be a typical 2.5 year old by the teeth - nice buck congrats!

Lots of great info on the web OR, take your lower jaw to the local DEC office at your leisure and have the guys/gals there take a look.
