Burn sticks

Has anyone ever tried the burn sticks for bear. I’m tagged out for deer and was thinking it could be fun. Any other tips for legally attracting near would great.

The gun shop owner where I get my supplies uses them for bear and used them for the early season (sept) this year and nailed a nice one. Said the bear basically pushed over his canister where the bear sense stick was burning. I have used the deer sense sticks but with no luck.

Old post, but can someone clarify if honey burns are legal in NY? I was looking online but couldn’t find a definite answer. Thank you
