Possession of Venison

I know that this has been discussed on here before, but I can't seem to find it searching for the thread on here or the regulations on the DEC site. I know that years ago there was a NYSDEC regulation that had a time limit on how long you can keep venison after harvest. That's no longer a regulation right?

We've discussed it on here before and I remember it being that way too. I believe it has been done away with.

That is also my memory of the discussion had here. That is no longer a regulation.
