Min. age to bow hunt in NYS?

I am trying to find the minimum age to bow hunt deer on the DEC web page but I cannot.  I was told it is 12.  Is that correct?

Nope its 14, 12 you can hunt small game with bow.

i always remember it being 14, if they changed it i didnt hear anything... i started at 14
