You think you need a weapon just to stop a bear attack on those trails   looks like human attackers are just as dangerous.

Just more proof it is better to have a firearm to defend yourself with and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

Whack job, attacker , was well known on the trail ,  multiple contacts with law enforcement, was the proverbial ticking time bomb .
