land 1
Well plots so far so good Big n Beasty Frigid forage did the best its over 15 in high planted august 6th, WI winter greens planted same time is about 8in high and is holding its one but is slower growing, The bio-logic brassica mix is not doing well planted same date as others and is maybe 4in high, Buck forage oats planted on September 6 is doing great and deer are hitting it good also have winter rye mixed in. Wi Chickory and clover planted in the spring is also doing very well... Not sure whats up with the Bio logic same method and nothing diffrent done to it. Putnamcounty Bowhunter
Did you plant the biologic beets and greens or some other mix? I planted their radishes and the beets and greens mix this year and both did pretty well but the t-raptor and barkant turnips def outproduced the biologic. land 1
anywhere from a 6.5 to 5.6 and the WI and Bio where planted in 6.5 and the B.B. was in 6.4 and 5.6.... Other then the the 5.6plot the other plots where all basically the same make up according to soil tests
Zag
Interesting, I wouldn't imagine BB would do that well in the lower pH. I tried biologic once on a good soil and wasn't impressed. I've always had great success with WI.
land 1
so the B&B is over my knees now im guessing 24in with some good turnips and radish growing, the other stuff is still behind the biologic and WI has most plants between 8 in and foot
