cbx46
Anyone notice not alot of acorns on trees this summer? I have found a few white oak stands and not noticed any acorns on the floor or in the tree.
meatmuzzy
very very few compared to last fall. It could work out better though. Find that one tree dropping nuts and you may be in for a great hunt!
Karpteach
Not much on the ground or in the trees. Hoping for the holy grail of over producing tree,
pawle76
I'm looking forward to a year with less acorns. The past 2 seasons there were acorns everywhere and saw very little deer movement. Maybe this season the deer will have to look around a little for them.
cbx46
I've found a few trees with nuts on the ground but nothing crazy and mostly red oaks, not white.
Buckstopshere
Last year was a bumper crop year, here in Southern Allegany County, both with red and white oaks. Since they rest about every four or five years, I don't expect to see any, and so far I haven't seen any acorns to speak of...
