new hunters

Just wondering who will have new hunters at camp this year? I will have 4 women jioning this year and one man. Well a frinds wife and twin girls decided to take their hunting course to hunt small game. Another friends daugher took her bow course for deer just turned 12. and my friends boy will be joining us for gun season for deer/bear. I have made several changes to blinds/stands to accomadate two to 3 hunters just for this occasion but i feel its worth it

My daughters boyfriend is taking his course and wants to hunt.....I do sense a little hesitation on his part, walking into the woods with me while I am carrying a loaded gun...lol. Seriously though, he will be going and I hope he gets hooked.

i hunted in a camp of with about 12 to 16 hunters back in the late 70s when i first started hunting, overr the years almost every one of them dropped off, died, got too old, or just gave it up. its down to me and one other guy and we hunt the land i live on now, nice in a way but sure miss those days with all the guy's meeting upstate the night before opening.

hunting camps are nothing like they were in the 70s and 80s when every hotel, motel, gas station, and diner and ginmill was crawling in a sea of blaze orange.
