sampotter
Here is some action at a sign post rub in my friends' backyard. Each year every buck that passes through has to tag it. Buck #5 really puts on a nice show. How old do you think he is? I like to think that he is 4 if you use bucks 2 and 6 as 3yr old reference points. Buck 5 has the the characteristic short-legged appearance of a mature buck. His right antler sure is messed up. I shall call him "Crunk". He is now on the hit list. Culvercreek hunt club
Great videos. Most I could give him is 3-1/2. not sure of the area of the state you took this in but I would put the other 2 you listed at maybe 2-1/2's.
sampotter
Great videos. Most I could give him is 3-1/2. not sure of the area of the state you took this in but I would put the other 2 you listed at maybe 2-1/2's. I can live with that. Thats why I asked. When I paused the video, #5 does not have any sag to his belly or sway in his back. Last year I got caught up in the excitement of seeing a really nice buck finally and was disapointed when I got him on the ground. wdswtr
You can make your own sign post under your stands. Get a cedar fence post the fresher the better and drive it in the ground. You will be amazed at how fast it gets torn up. Done it a few times and it still suprises me each time it happens. It need to be a green though and not all dried up.
