Traveling out of NYS question

Am i allowed to drive to ohio to pick up a motorcycle ? I haven't heard anything stating we can't leave the state but i was given a heads up by a friend that i may run into trouble in another state if they see my NY plates.

I haven't heard/read any restrictions on interstate travel.....PA residents are driving across the border here to NY evry day because the PA liquor stores are closed ( state run)  and ours ( privately run ) are not...

No prohibition by NY.  Some states near the city were turning away those with NY plates.  Doubt it’s an issue for Ohio.

All states are saying no "non-essential travel", but they don't really enforce that.  An over zealous cop might decide to issue a ticket for it, but a court would have to define what non-essential is.  A money grubbing local judge could decide your travel was non-essential though.
