rob1114
Got the itch to go out grouse hunting after archery hunting earlier this weekend and had a pair of grouse drumming around my stand all afternoon. So today I took the dog out and managed to flush 4 grouse and 1 woodcock in about 3 hours. Then went home and through the grouse breast on the grill for lunch. All and all not a bad day

Single_shot
Good goin! I have only seen 1 male on my property drummin and he did have a partner for a short while, but then I found her in more than 1 piece by the gate....so he is alone again. I just enjoy hearing him drum,I let him alone. Though I hope to see more one day, love to hunt/eat them.

Setters4life
Nice! (I contend that grouse is the best tasting upland game bird.) They are worth all that hard work.
