Just saw this and wanted to bring to attention of any TC Venture owners.

Thanks, I just come across your warning and checked the serial Number on my Venture and it is on the recall list on the S.W. web site. I will call them on Monday for return instructions.

Smith & Wesson identified a condition that may exist with the sear supplied with some rifles that would allow the rifle to fire without the trigger being pulled. In the interest of consumer safety, we are initiating this recall to allow for the prompt inspection and, if necessary, the repair of each rifle.

Yes, just a minor issue. I just emailed them asking what happens when I have to take my professionally mounted scope off for shipping. Do I have to pay to have it remounted too? Waiting for the reply...and I was having a decent day.

Sent my venture in for the recall and got it back in a week.I was very surprised.
