rachunter
I just ordered a xs sight system lever rail with ghost ring sights. My question is will i be able to sight in the scope and take it off to use the sights on bad weather days then put the scope back on without sighting it in again? The scope is a leupold vx-2 Edited September 23, 2020 by rachunter add pic
Farflung
might want to consider ironsighter scope mounts (see-thru). I have them on my Marlin 336, Work well with a strap on cheekpiece. I have Williams peep sight and can use either. (Also have pop up scope caps that work well)
mlammerhirt
Maybe just put caps on your score for bad weather days.....I can't speak for everyone but removing and putting a scope back on can't be a great idea without checking zero.Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
rachunter
All my scopes have caps on them.I guess i'll stick with my original plan and keep the .35 scoped and the 3030 with the peep sight.

"Warne or Leupold quick detach" rings are the answer, they hold well, I messed around detaching the scope and putting it back on checking for reliability, everything stayed zeroed in.
