nybuckboy
I'm thinking of buying a FoxPro electronic call. Either the Spitfire for $199 or the Wildfire for $299. Anyone use these calls? How do they work for you?
BizCT
I have the spitfire, it works well. I used it in under 0 degree temps and it worked fine. I set it up like 30-40 yards away when hunting in the dark, and like 60-70 yards away when hunting during daylight.
WNYBuckHunter
My buddy has the Firestorm. I wouldn't bother with a lower end one. You'll want the dual speakers. Last year I picked up the Flextone Echo HD and I love it, but will eventually get a Firestorm so I can add/remove sounds. The Echo has 100 sounds dual speakers and a remote. It costs less than the Spitfire and has more features. If you are just getting into e-callers, I would highly recommend it.
bkln
I have FX3 they work pretty good, you can also purchase additional sounds from them and adjust it for your region, money well spent IMHO. One word of advice: make sure it is secured when placed, I had an Owl trying to lift it on one of my stands at night, it was fun to see her struggle with it but if it wasn't secured I would lose it that night. scobar
I have a FoxPro remote control, not sure of the model. It has speakers on both ends of the unit. They pte load calls at the factory to what you want on it. I have to say I have the most fun with it just calling crows, they show up in big numbers in no time at all. I have not taken a coyote with it yet, maybe 6 times out, but have not used it at night either. Called in a couple of fox just to watch. The remote is great, you can control volume start/stop and change calls at will Edited December 29, 2011 by scobar

I just ordered the FX3 as a discontinued from FoxPro for $239... good deal. Better than the Spitfire for a few bucks more.

wmig2
Foxpro calls are great. I have the FX5 and love it. I have 85 calls on it. I had the FX3 but upgraded to the 5 a couple of years ago. The TX-200 remote is better than the standard FX3 remote.
