Waterfowl hunting Longisland

Hey guys new hunter here done some big game hunting had one of the greatest times in my life doing that. I would like to try out some duck hunting but don’t know anyone that does it. I don’t own a boat so that’s out the picture can anyone please direct me to a walk in hunting area that doesn’t require a boat not asking for your honey hall. Just need someone with some experience to help out a beginner . Just need a location I don’t mind walking around doing some scouting to eventually get to the walk in area. Any help is much appreciated. Sucks my friend aren’t into hunting .

I’d go with a guide for the first outing it’s cheaper then loading up with decoys,calls ect..... there’s some good guides out here I think one is a member on here(bruno1) if that’s not your thing look up the dec wetlands(permit needed).
How do you plan on getting the birds if they go in the water?

Are you a Suffolk resident? If so they have a few county parks which would be ideal for what you’re looking for. If not then I would get the free wetlands permit and try those spots. And then like @rachunter and @NonTypical said you can always book a trip.

I’ll have to get the free wetland permit Cause I’m in Nassau this waterfowl thing is harder then I thought ugh I really would like to get into it
