Persimmon tree.

My X-wife just bought a new house. There is a decent size Asian Persimmon tree there. It has plenty of fruit. I would love to have a couple at the cabin.

Any thoughts on how to take the seeds from the fruit and try to start them. On another web site I posted this and guys have not had good success. 

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

You should try "air grafting" It's worth a try.

Actually, most persimmon trees are grafted. Check if yours is before planting seeds

Bought some 5 footers at msrks in springville. You can have bare roots mailed to you in spring or by potted. Its the same company that sells dunstan chestnuts. The best variety here is yates or prok. Chestnut hill tree farm. There called deer candy. First fall for mine. Hope they survive. They were grown in indiana so same climate. Good luck
