deer or coyote

Hey guys i was just wondering what has a better sense of smell a deer or a coyote?

Coyote can smell a 100 times compared to a human I think I read somewhere and a deer can smell 50 times compared to a human.

Interesting question. All I know is a deer might hang around a bit when they smell a human but a coyote sure won't.

I had a coyote trot up within 20 feet of me this past season, while I was on the ground and wearing a blaze hat and vest. He must have had a *really* bad cold. I've never had one get so close to me before.

depends on who you talk to... I have never read anything scientific on the subject of deer vs coyote... I do know that both have nothing on a bear when it comes to noses... the bear has the best nose in the world.
