Movie --- The D.I. with Jack Webb

Watching the movie on TMC . I saw this movie the summer of 1959 just before I went to Boot Camp at Parris island . I thought , oh lord , what did I get myself in to !!!

Good movie, eddie..

Then you got to boot camp and some sadistic D.I. started beating on your ass and you realized that Jack Webb was really a pretty nice guy... .....

There are a lot of people I have forgotten over the years but not the Drill Instructors that i had in Boot Camp ! Not even the instructor at Advanced Infantry Training ..........

Yeah , it was pre-Dragnet . He made the movie in 1957 .

Jack Webb starred in Dragnet from 1951-1959.. I am not sure when Harry Morgan began as his partner, but I do know that Friday's partner in the first few seasons ( in the 50s) was another guy.

Dragnet went off the air, and then began again in the early to mid 60's, at which time Harry Morgan was Friday's partner.
