Unless I missed something , that report is over 10 years old . I wonder what they have come up with since then .

I'm going to have to spend some time looking through all that stuff. There is a pile of interesting stats. I do wish that there was a newer version to compare this against for changes and trends.

I searched the web to no avail looking for a more recent study (executive Summary) comparable to the one contained in the posted link. Interestingly, PA has numerous studies which one can refer to. Maybe the DEC references or relies upon the work of others to determine their deer management strategies in NY LOL.
