Hock3y24
Saw this on YouTube and thought it was pretty nifty, I’m gonna paint it still. They cost $3-$4 to make depending how much you buy in bulk obviously. 1/4” eye bolt-1 1/4x20 wing nut-1 3/8”x1” bolt-1 3/8” flat washer-3 3/8” wing nut-3 1/4 threaded eye lag-1
GreeneHunter
I saw the same video quite awhile ago , I went and picked up all the parts and am currently using three of them ! They work just fine but spray paint them black or camo to match the tree , otherwise they stick out like a sore thumb !
mlammerhirt
I'll second that....spray them brown or black and your in business. I onlybyou these types of mounts now and they are awesome. So awesome that I couldn't find a cam last week that has been out since April. You need to actually be looking at the cam in order to see it....without the strap you can't see it when looking from behind the tree. I also recommend a thinner diameter thread pattern on the I screw which mounts to the tree.....the thicker ones are harder to get started.
