All semi auto firearms with detachable mags may become NFA controlled. Registered and Taxed just like machine guns.

HR 4953 a bill proposing to treat all semi-automatic rifles and shotguns with detachable magazines as items regulated under the National Firearms Act or NFA. They therefore will have to be registered and taxed.

The key word is "TAX".

Someone has to pay for all the wasteful and crooked spending thanks to illegal alien's, refugees, lazy Americans, Americans on drugs, college students in debt, the lost military equipment in Afghanistan and the list goes on thanks to President Biden.

That "Tax" is to increase the cost of these firearms beyond the reach of most middle class people who would like to own them.  It's a way to prevent the masses from exercising their rights.
