Grouse
I don't have the link to post, but I saw Ruger just introduced their new 10/22 in a takedown version. The barrel comes apart from the receiver with very little effort. The stock is split just in front of the magazine. The one I saw was the standard carbine model in stainless steel with black synthetic stock. It comes with a nice case that hold everything and is only 24" long. MSRP $389, but will most likely retail for about $350.
Elmo
Saw the article yesterday. Would make a nice carry-around/survival gun. I already have the 10/22 Tatical. Love it. http://www.guns.com/ruger-new-gun-10-22-takedown.html http://www.ruger.com/products/ruger1022Takedown/models.html
Grouse
I have the 10/22 Target in Bull Barrel/Stainless Steel. I would love to see it made as a takedown if the accuracy were the same.
