Wind storm damage

I went out back at home for the first time since last Saturday’s 70 mph wind storm this morning.  Walking down the lane, it looked like a dead ash had fallen on my favorite 2 level deer blind.   
 

When I got to it, I saw it was a near miss, by about 10 feet, but I did loose a piece of barn wood off the south wall of the upper deck.

It looks like I got some work to do with the chainsaw after the ground freezes up.  For now, I will use it as some added cover. To make up for the missing board, thru the Holiday ML season.

Know the feeling wolc.just cut up another 2 tree's yesterday at a friend's neighbors house due to storm.put some cash in my pocket and firewood for my aunt though.just need to go n cut up logs at her place.the Ole chevy had some weight in er!
