yes. I stalked from 110yds to 17 yards in shorts and red chiefs sweatshirt. But both hens. If one was a tom, i would have shot. I always carry bow in woods during season. Never want to risk being in woods without it. even though i was just going in to check cam quick during rain

Exactly. When we gut deer  during gun season there is always a loaded rifle within arms reach. You never know.

Vacation day tomorrow to hunt. Planning to hunt NY in AM and CT PM. Just got this sequence of a small 4pt harassing does. Might change my mind if I wake up tomorrow morning to a 10pt pic

11/3: hunted CT the morning. 11th sit of season. No deer seen. Just 2 hen turkeys I took video of and passed up. Would have shot if there was a tom. Got a pic of 4pt 30min before I got into stand.

11/3 PM sit. # 12 overall. 3N NY. Fun sit. Saw a doe, fawn and 6pt at 245pm. Maybe the 6pt was a shooter. Tough to tell at 92 yards in thick stuff. Then 440pm saw 2 turkeys. A Jake and Tom of course in the state I can’t shoot them. Then a fawn from 510pm till dark feeding.

11/5: I didn’t hunt. But my dad went to dark to dark in 3N for his xbow opener. Zero deer seen, but first buck rub of season spotted
