Fantail
Hey are they bedding around there? Looks like soft grasses.
NYBowhunter
Yeah that grass is cozy and soft. Those pictures were taken from an area with a stand of apple trees. Only 20 feet to the left is a ladder stand that I bow hunt out of. About 200-300 yards below this apple orchard are my food plots, they work their way off the food plots in the morning pass through these apple standings and yes about 100 yards or so above these apple tress is a high ridge where the deer bed down. Other then taking pictures from May-July on that high ridge, I then pull the camera in July and dont really venture into the higher parts of my property because its such a heavily used bedding area. Not uncommon to walk the high areas of my property in the late season and find 10 or more beds in the snow. They seem to love the high spots as a vantage point. Sorry for the long explanation, but just thought I would explain the layout of the property. Hey are they bedding around there? Looks like soft grasses.
