  3. Stay later in the morning on that dude. His hens will go sit on their nests and leave him mid morning 10am to Noon you might be able to coax him over. Set up 2-3 decoys if possible, talk to him a little so he knows your there and wait him out. Don’t call to much though. Just hit him with a couple and get him to gobble back at ya and then just wait him out.

  9. The 40 degrees will not be the killer. Like you said. Even behind fence the rain and damp with the 40 degrees is the killer. Up here it’s so early we don’t have any undergrowth or tall grass for them to bed in to get out of the wind.
  10. It's definitely harder to call downhill but he will come if hens are visible.
  11. Does 40 degree nights effect the fawns much? We have a couple in a row then it warms up! Weather is the biggest mortality rate for young ones. snow or rain with cold nights could be bad.
  12. They will definitely come down hill. They lock up at crossing creeks and such at times but if he lost his morning dancing partners and see’s your sweet lady in the offering he is coming.
  13. Happy Birthday and have a great day!
  14. Is it true turkeys don’t like to come down hill ? If they hear a hen yelp I assume they would
