  1. That’s because Pence is a RINO, never mind that he’s been a lifelong Republican and is awkwardly hyper conservative. RINO I say! To be a real a Republican nowadays you must reject the constitution and have a crush on Putin and Q.
  2. If you pretend to offer opinions that extend outside of theological dogma, I recommend you read something other than the Bible.
  3. It’s not about vilifying Trump, he doesn’t need help with that. In these hyperdivided times, it’s striking when individuals override party lines to call out bad behavior. Bolton and the many other Republican public servants who have disavowed Trump for his incompetence and for regularly putting self over country deserve some recognition. Check it out, here’s another Republican calling out Trumpists in the GOP: https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/04/politics/mike-pence-republican-putin-rnc/index.html
  4. It’s truly a warped world when I’m the one who feels compelled to stand up for Bolton. Unreal. Robby, where do you place Bolton in relation to Anthony Scaramucci or Stephen Miller? God, what a gem of an administration…
  5. If I must reduce it for you, my argument is as follows. No one showed the level of disrespect to Trump during his SOTU address that Biden saw this week. Nevertheless, Biden handled it gallantly. Before demanding dignified and respectful treatment in the political sphere, take stock of how your side has (and continues to) behaved. If you desire decorum, before requesting it, perhaps first acknowledge Trump’s utter mishandling and disrespect of the office he held. Then, by all means, request decorum to your heart’s content.
  6. Yes, he has a history of being a war hawk. Yes, I’ve already said I’m not a fan. Yes, he was hand picked by Trump to be his national security advisor and it is a good idea to take note when he offers insights to Trump’s mindset as it pertains to national security. Especially for those still oozing for a 2nd term.
  7. Wait, I thought I had already explicitly agreed with your point that there is unlikely to be unity anytime soon…
  8. But we do have a well documented track record of Trump undermining global alliances and kowtowing to Putin (even publicly undermining his own intelligence agencies to placate Putin). Given how little disregard Trump had for our longstanding allies, it’s not unreasonable to pay attention when his hand-picked staff offers insight to his mindset and intentions as it pertains to the topic.
  9. You don’t get credit for serially running businesses into the ground. Legitimate players in the NYC developer space unanimously considered him a joke. His genius wasn’t in running a business. It was in making a spectacle of himself for media attention and branding. And it worked. But that’s no way to run a country.
  10. I don’t know what’s more frightening, that a clown like Trump made it to power or that people on this forum continue to be his apologist. I’m not a Bolton fan, but he’s a careful and measured guy. Trump didn’t leave behind a term 2 playbook (that guy was barely able to follow one while in power), but I take Bolton’s admissions as very credible. Few had as much privileged access to Trump as him. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/03/04/bolton-says-trump-might-have-pulled-us-out-nato-if-he-had-been-reelected/
  11. One of many reasons. I too fear that America will never return to its preTrump glory. But get real, does decorum actually apply to the president that did everything to undermine it. The president who encouraged an insurrection against the very system he presided over?
  12. Hey, this isn’t the primary sourcing I personally seek out but it’s leagues above what the folks on the fringes here share and easily digestible for them. But I agree with you, it’s a good thing that we’re just left with first hand, on the record reports from Trump’s cabinet and advisors. This is much better than having to deal with the consequences of having Trump for 4 additional years. Good riddance.
  13. Good luck with that. To be fair, the Trump guy was deserving of heckling. Look at what his National Security advisor (a lifelong conservative and Republican) has disclosed. Trump really was Putin’s puppet. Stud, huh? https://www.businessinsider.com/bolton-putin-waiting-for-trump-to-withdraw-from-nato-in-2nd-term-2022-3
  14. This falls short of the level of decorum I’ve come to expect from our very own @Northcountryman
  15. Nice! Pretty much the only critters I’ve been seeing on my cams over the last month have been coyotes. Fun to see how habit distribution and movement varies throughout the year.
  16. Hopefully @blackbeltbill can tell us how this works…
  17. I've been following this saga loosely. What's the story? As I've been able to piece together, you bought a new house and so you're selling stuff you don't want to take with you? (I've held out of Nextdoor. Generally worthwhile? Can I sell .54 cal copper (Barnes) muzzleloader bullets on there or would it be frowned upon?)
  18. Here is Trump giving a masterclass on "weak leadership and appeasement" (or on kotowing to totalitarian strongmen as I put it).
  19. I'm not going to teach you irony. Well not now. Perhaps during our rabbit hunt/bear scout if you play your cards right.
  20. Yeah, Trump's 4 years of destabilizing and undermining global alliances while kowtowing to totalitarian strongmen had nothing to do with this...
  21. How much have you made off this board so far? If by any chance you have a Pulsar handheld you're looking to sell, I'm interested.
  22. He thinks that the cold will kill them rather than cue them to revert to a dormant state. I don't know if this is true.
  23. As Trump apologist desperately try to rewrite history, let's not forget who Ukraine's leader is. This comedian has grown into the job of president in a way that our own clown in chief never could. While some reimagine a world where Trump remained in power, let's recall the role that Trump played in his interactions with Ukraine as the leader of the free world: Trump praises Zelensky as a 'brave man' two years after he tried to extort him for political dirt on Biden https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-cpac-speech-zelensky-ukraine-b2024200.html
