  1. Ah, you’re so close. It’s an acknowledgement that sex and gender are distinct words with different meanings.
  2. They can improve when aged, as you found. I have 2 tabletop humidors with hygrometers built-in, which in all honesty is good enough. I just like to track the values digitally through time. It’s not complicated tech. In fact, my other sensors have endured for years. I’m surprised that they simply seem to die after a few months in the humidor.
  3. @Northcountryman, have you been working on a solution for me?
  4. You’re saying that Maine is a good example of grouse and turkeys co-existing in large numbers due to great habitat?
  5. I think this is mostly a myth and shouldn’t account for the decline in grouse populations. It all comes down to the same thing: habitat. https://fwf.tennessee.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/24/2020/07/Do-wild-turkeys-influence-quail-or-grouse-populations.pdf https://www.wxpr.org/natural-resources/2018-09-17/do-turkeys-eat-grouse
  6. This is far from a necessity but I like to see the data longitudinally.
  7. The ones I’m using are very small and fit in a cigar humidor. I’d be willing to pay more for something is cigar gas proof and fits in a humidor.
  8. They’re cheap, $20 on Amazon. But they’re small. It’s why I keep replacing them. Unfortunately, it’s easy for it to go unnoticed after they’ve stopped working properly. What’s a mobile one?
  9. There must be something about the sensor in this particular Govee Bluetooth model. Unlikely to be a bad batch of 4 of them.
  10. Do volatilized cigar oils ruin hygrometers? I have 2 Bluetooth hygrometers in 2 separate cigar humidors. I’ve had to replace them twice in less than a year. They just stopped working at about the same time in both cases. In contrast, I have 2 more of these Bluetooth hygrometers, one in a deep freezer the other in a bedroom and they’ve been working fine for over 2 years. So I ask, is there something about a humidor that would make Bluetooth hygrometers go bad?
  11. Interesting. Definitely looks way clunkier than the browning. I’ve been wanting a BAR for a while. I also want a Buck Mark.
  12. I've been thinking of purchasing a BAR for some time. Can you think back to anything you think was lacking?
  13. I imagine a semi-auto would be useful for folks bumping and shooting running deer in the big woods. Whether one should take a shot at a running deer is another matter.
  14. This was at a little French spot in the UWS.
  15. For this recipe, the chef pounded the rabbit loins into thin schnitzels and then rolled them up and pan fried. It was tasty - very moist and tender. I'm going to try to replicate this with the Quebecois rabbit in my freezer that I shot last fall.
  16. Lol, yes, Grandmaster Trump. Always multiple steps ahead of his geopolitical foes. Talk about delusional.
  17. If Biden was holding press briefings claiming that US intelligence was wrong and that Putin was right and very strong, yeah, the media would hit him too.
  18. I can’t walk you through the points we’ve already discussed at every turn. We’ve agreed on how Trump elevated the Taliban and how he undermined NATO. Those are the 2 points I was making above. Review your notes or read back.
