  1. I stopped in there roughly 2 weeks ago and asked about reloading. They said no but they had a sister store on central Ave that did. I can't recall which store he named.
  2. Very nice. I made something similar from a modified aluminum cabinet face frame vise. Not nearly as refined.
  3. These are the next projects below. Will start with the jacket as the stiffer fabrics are easier in my extremely limited experience
  4. Easier than it looks. Time consuming as everything was done at half speed. Played around with scrap material trying out all the different stitches and options on the machine, then started.
  5. Thanks. They're definitely 5 footers. Up close you can see imperfections and workarounds due to the layering being too thick for the machine to handle. Not lightweight. Have since waxed them making them heavier and stiffer. Had to wash multiple times to remove the excessive wax I applied. Post waxing they lack breathability. They did swish a lot due to the legs being too baggy. I have since removed material in the inner thigh and along the outer leg seams making them much better in the noise department. I intended to make another set with lightweight goretex type material but already own a similar military surplus setup. So these will mostly be used for other stuff, shoveling, sledding, ice fishing, etc. Overall not really great or even good for what I originally intended but it was a good learning experience. Next I plan on sewing a barn jacket from similar material and a fleece sweater with pouch. The patterns were Green Pepper Coast Range Anorak and Twig and Tale Rainhaven Overalls.
  6. A friend was throwing out a sewing machine. I grabbed it up an played with it for a bit and watched a ton of YouTube. Ended up putting this together from Harbor Freight tarp.
  7. Are bench rest primers worth the additional cost? Midway has some right now @$133/1000 large rifle.
  8. Today 1/7/2022 @ 9:22am midway has large rifle bench rest primers and CCI small primer
  9. 1000. This was over a week ago.
  10. Appreciate the offer. Just picked up a small kit. Hope to set it up an run it this weekend.
  11. The hourly cost of labor is a huge driver for me doing my own work. The last place I went to was like 90 an hour. Not sure if that's high or low amongst other shops but it's expensive to me.
  12. Do my own changes as well. Usually stockpile the oil in a 3 gallon container and drop off at the advanced auto a few minutes away when near full. Also do general maintenance including plugs, belts, brakes, other fluids. Larger projects are tackled as needed shocks, ball joints and other items of the sort. I don't mind preventive maintenance but when something breaks that needs done it gets annoying real quick.
  13. Also an Athlon Talos 4-16x40. Has a couple small spots of black epoxy on the body. Asking $120
  14. Cleaning out the closet. Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40 with the Dead Hold BDC reticle. Asking $120 Konus 3-9x32. Model 7234. Asking $40 UTG 3-12x32 BugBuster with mildot reticle. Asking $80 CVA Hunter scope mount. Asking $20
  15. 2 weeks ago I may have but I got impatient and have since bought a .22 bcg for a spare upper and lower I had. Just waiting on a barrel.
  16. I'd potentially attend based on time and date.
  17. It's just the staging of the carcasses that makes it weird.
  18. There were trees nearby. I should have looked for a trail camera. Maybe setup to see what scavengers pop up. I plan to be out in the area next weekend, might look around a bit more.
  19. Public. Found as shown in the photo. Didn't get a good look. Was trying to keep the dog away, hadn't noticed the 2 squirrels at first and wasn't sure what killed the coyote. I'm pretty sure it was shot, the squirrels too. Just weird to be left like that.
