Good Explanation, Tad early for lock down I would guess but they are moving far and wide. I only have 2 bucks on the hit list down on the Tier farm and they both disappeared for over a week, just started getting phone pic’s of them again and now during daylight so today starts the 3 week trip down to try and take one of the two out. We had farm does bred during October last fall so it’s totally possible there are a few does coming into estrus this early. Now is the time to be charging the “Beat’s” and sitting all day.

Hope everyone gets a chance to get out and get their vote’s in today. Ny has a decent shot at changing the colors in the state for a change. Those in now have failed us again.

That’s funny right there. Part of a hunting group, try and give advice to others when all they have is your talk that you have a clue as to what your talking about. So you could not show the whole deer to show biz you found it? As far as the cook goes he throws up the 3 grand at the gate and he could play the game. A guy says no less then 3 times he would be afraid of shooting the wrong deer in a fenced in area does not show much experience. And wounding deer? Ya we won’t have to go there with him. Nobody gives two shits if you post pics or not. But showing pics of a deer with no head speaks volumes. Here I can give you a pic of the one I shot tonight so you can play the guessing game. If anything everyone on here is going to know you have not shot a wall hanger in 5 years because you feel the need to show a half assed pic like we need to approve it. Exactly why I don’t hit the woods until Halloween. Not interested in the little guys and not showing any cards to the ladies in the woods tips the game for the biggest in the area in my favor. All depends on a persons desires I guess.

That’s plenty most times if one waits for the better shot opportunities. If I “Thought” I heard a crash… No way am I leaving without taking up the trail for a few yards at the least. Any kind of vermin in the area and it could be toast by now.
