Tuesdays hunt was great shot 2 squirrels.I found one dead doe looks like it was hit by a car Buzzards all over it also found alot of beaver trees boy they are busy critters

Are there any small do it your self soil kits?I have a small plot that I started afew seasons ago and the only thing to grow was some baby grass I used a mix of landino and some store mixed stuff.the clover started good I thaught but then just grass grew.I was thinking maybe try some corn but that also has a wide variety. -

In New York this is the only game that I know of that the .410 slug is any good for.It can kill deer in short ranges/distances but not legal for biggame.No apologies needed I just hunt with the tools that I have unlike most my money goes into my home not my sporting/guns.

It does and any one just getting into shooting or hunting should not be shied of a good quality 22 long rifle.

How can you say the .410 is not an effective firearm for a humane kill?The reason I do not use more fire power is I own only 1 rifle a 270 win.that is set just for the few times I get to hunt in rifle zones for deer.You are telling me that #4shot out of a 12 guage is a more ethical way of killing a dog than a slug from a .410

With so many blends of clover How do you know which one will grow the best in different areas?With out taking a core sample of the soil to check ph level and other chemicals in the soil are there ways of testing/such as trying to grow smaller squares say 6'x6' of different seeds to see if it grows -

I have it sighted in for 50yrds.Most of my shots are between30-40yrds.I shoot the CCI stingers.
