  1. Did I say ALL cops are crooked? Don't try to put words in my mouth. I go hunting, and fishing with a couple of cops, and I certainly have no ill will toward them.
  2. Yes, but that was after they impounded my car, and I lost my job. After 4 months of going to court, I was up for a jury trial. After waiting for 3 hours for my jury trial, I was called up by the judge. He said "Failure to prosecute, case dismissed". Of course, by then, the damage was done.
  3. Perhaps you should also research the number of police misconduct cases. The numbers are staggering. We vets stick together. That's not to say that we stand behind those that break the law-we don't. However, until this case is brought to light, no one actually knows what happened. As some forum members know, I just got done with going to court for 4 months for tickets that were just flat out not true. It cost me everything. Car impounded, my job, and everything else. Even though I showed the cop my legit paperwork, I was still given tickets. They will get no sympathy from me.
  4. How did a "routine" traffic stop turn into a search of his vehicle? Where's the probable cause? We can speculate one way or the other.
  5. These mags were allegedly found during a random vehicle check. Of course, the legality of random vehicle checks should definitely be questioned.

  7. I appreciate your compliments, thank you. My point on the other issue, ironically, is unity. The fact of the matter, is that waiting for someone else to take action (lawsuits by NYSRPA, for example), is unacceptable, at least in my opinion. I never once said to "kill people, etc.". What I have said, though, is that there comes a time when you have to stand up for what you believe in. Whether it be verbally, or whatever, if you value your freedoms, you should take a stand.
  8. JJB, I've never owned handguns, or for that matter, AR15's, or AK47's. But, I've always stood up for other gun owners rights anyway. I have ALWAYS raised hell with the establishment, and will continue to do so. I don't live in a "me,me,me" world, like other people do. As for your comment that NY has dictated this laws for years, should actually tell people that there comes a time when you have to stand your ground, or just lose more and more. Boy, I'd hate to see some people on here in a bully situation. Oh, please, mr. bully, don't pick on me! That crap doesn't work in the real world!
  9. Doc, I asked you a question on the other thread. Just a rhetorical question. I ask it again. If the government told you that you have to give up your first born, would you also follow that law to a "T"?
  10. People are losing their jobs left and right everyday, your "right" to own guns is obviously based on the governments consent, and your already considered a criminal by Cuomo. What's your point? You call that freedom?? God help us. No wonder we never get anywhere against these laws. What burns me, is that these same people who aren't willing to stand up for their rights, expect someone else to do it for them.
  11. Yep. Being a good has sure brought us gun owners positive outcomes. Perhaps that explains why we have the worst gun restrictions in the country? As for the public, people already have mindsets. They're not going to change. FYI, Andy, and the morons that cater to his agenda, have ALREADY painted us as savages. What in the hell is the point to this "niceness" bs? Sorry, but I tend to only be nice to those, who are nice to me. The rest can go to hell.
  12. Who's suggesting shooting anyone? What exactly are you talking about?! If you're not willing to stand on your principles, then you deserve what you get. Quite frankly, if a law was passed that said you had to give up your first born, is that alright also? We had an expression for those that betrayed common ground in the Army-they were called "buddy f******". F'ing your buddy was not tolerated, and quite frankly, tended to lead to backlashes. I was sworn to uphold the oath to the Constitution, and I still do that today. However, I never suggested shooting anyone. I DO believe there may very well come a day that there may very well be an uprising, but that will remain to be seen. Who knows? My thing is, that I despise people who say one thing, and do another. They could very well have stated to begin with, that they intended to enforce the law anyway. They did not do that. I can't tolerate liars, and I despise cowards, plain and simple.
  13. There were guardsmen down in La. after Katrina that stood their ground, and refused to confiscate the citizens guns, and they're still in. It can easily be contested.
  14. Interesting concept, but wrong. Unlike "law enforcement", a soldier is held to the standards of the Geneva Convention, and "War Crimes". A prime example is the marine in Fallujah, who shot an insurgent, when the insurgent reached behind his back. This guy went through hell to clear his name. If the government tells the military to go out and shoot gun owners, does it make it right? We have minds of our own, and we know what's wrong and right. A soldier HAS THE RIGHT to disobey an unlawful, or unconstitutional order. Being a vet, I know the rules.
  15. Here ya go. Traitorous bastards! http://www.timesunion.com/default/article/Police-union-letter-raps-new-gun-laws-4237115.php
  16. The sheriff are nothing but turncoats. The letter is effectively pointless, as the sheriff intends to enforce the law anyway. Welcome to the police state! So much for their oath!
  17. Early, do you have a link for that? I can't seem to find anything that says that.
  18. I thought they weren't going to enforce it initially?!
  19. Why can't we have Congressmen like that, instead of the cowards we have??
  20. How in the hell did a "hunter numbers per state" thread turn into yet another AR thread?!
  21. I don't plan on shopping at Dicks. Just not going to happen!
