  1. Hi, Elmo. I actually ditched that Hatsan, since I had the same problem. I had the .22 version, and I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. That was the 1000s I believe. I also had the Hatsan model 95, but that one was a tack driver in .22.
  2. Piers is, by far, one of the biggest pos as far as I'm concerned. I just simply can't stand the idiot.
  3. I tend to use scopes that are designed for centerfires, as they can absorb more recoil.
  4. Some people tend to worry too much about weight. To me, the heavier the gun, the more accurate it is. Is that scope going to be able to handle the recoil?
  5. It's just a matter of getting used to it again. Remember artillery hold! You might be able to get a reasonably priced 3x9x40. That's what I use on mine.
  6. Benji's are good air rifles. Ironically, even though I ordered 2 air rifles today (a .25, and the XS60C PCP), I still haven't gotten the other one I want-an NP!
  7. I'll definitely try to get one out there once I get the gun. Having said that, there are shot strings on an airgun forum. Pretty impressive numbers for only 1500 psi.
  8. The XS60C, of course, is made by BAM. I've actually owned BAM air rifles in the past, and they are actually built pretty solid, unlike the Shanghais.
  9. I agree. Thankfully, Mike knows what he's doing.
  10. These people are lunatics. They put animals before people, and, in fact, tend to wish harm upon people.
  11. I'll tell you, Shawn-I didn't even know this gun existed.
  12. Hey, Shawn. Yep, it's going to be a pump. I got the pump, and the pcp for $240 total. You can buy the gun separate, but I needed to get a replacement pump anyway. Is the Benji alright now?
  13. Interestingly enough, I stumbled upon this while searching for another air rifle. Mike Melick makes this pcp, which sells for all of $100. Anyone who is into airguns big time, like me, and Shawnhu, know who Mike Melick is. He is very well known in airgun circles as being excellent at airgun tuning. This guy really knows his stuff. Anyway, I ordered one today. What is great about this air rifle, is the 1500 max psi fill, which, somehow, Mike has made it so that you can get between 800-900fps in .22, and 900fps and up in .177. Very interesting-I just had to get one of these! This is a pick of what it looks like. http://flyingdragonairrifles.org/XS60C_PCP.html
  14. The only ones who are saving a lot of money in this fiasco, are clearly the non-residents. We're not saving much of anything, from what I had seen.
  15. Well, now, that was very "hurtful." All I did was ask a simple question.
  16. Okay, I just have to ask this, out of curiosity. How do you manage to get so much free time to hunt? Having to work to support the family, I find it impossible to get that much free time. What's your secret?
  17. Hell-I just want to know where he makes $300 a day!
  18. It is really heavy, considering it's length. Seems to be built like a tank!
  19. I got really lucky with the wife I have. Can't complain one bit!
  20. Will do, Shawn. We have to get out small gaming after the deer season. Damnit-I seem to have hit one of the fonts!
  21. Hi, folks! Long time, no posts! Was just wondering if anyone else on the forum has had any experience with this shotgun. My wife just brought one home.
