  1. Another thing that baffles me about this, is since when is training done with hollow points? Weird.
  2. Interestingly enough, another 750 million rounds were ordered after the 450 million was fulfilled.
  3. Okay-so we just have to come up with a date. The new airgun I bought, is itching to wack some squirrels. Any ideas on a good date for this?
  4. We'll have to come to a consensus about a date for it. Off to work I go! Will post tomorrow.
  5. Sounds good. Hopefully, we can get more people into the fold like last year. We know we have to go to the "dead tree area".
  6. Okay-who's up for doing this again this year? I have a brand new Hatsan 95 in .22 coming Thursday. They're supposed to have some real power. Anybody game for a part 2 of last year?
  7. Sounds like here in Southern Dutchess. Average price of a home here, is about $700,000 and up. The older ones are damn expensive also. People down here would love to pay just $180,000 for a home.
  8. Sorry guys. Long time since I've been on here. Still alive, and kicking! Definitely NOT Obama.
  9. Ballistic Products is also a decent option, if your looking for shotgun ammo.
  10. Huh? I'm sorry, but that just blows my mind. Are you saying that even though you own guns, that your "anti gun", since you're not "pro gun"?! Kind of reminds me of a guy we had in my platoon, when I was in Army basic training. He hated guns, but he joined the Army. It just doesn't make any sense!
  11. I was actually up at Lafayetteville today too. Hit the other side of the road. If you saw a red Aveo parked by 199, that was me. Didn't see any rabbits, but did find a big 4 point torn to pieces.
  12. Definitely in Dutchess. See "Lafayetteville MUA" thread.
  13. Great to see you guys removed some of the population. You need to come down to the Southern Tier, and take some out. We have no shortage of them down here. I'm assuming you're hunting in the Northern Tier?
  14. Sounds good to me-I love hunting rabbits, or yotes. Both just makes it even better. Besides, rabbits are excellent eating.
  15. By the parking lot area. There really hasn't been a lot of pressure lately. There were all of 2 cars there today, and other days I've gone there, noone was there.
  16. Tons of tracks there again today. There is apparently no pressure on the predators there. That's a damned shame, and definitely needs to be fixed!
  17. I'm going to try to get up there Tuesday. I'll bring the camera-hopefully there will still be some snow, and get pics of the tracks.
  18. Best thing in the world! I always take the Gerber with me!
  19. Tons of it. In the same area in the valley I was talking about on the other thread. They seem to routinely hit the edges of the field in the valley. Definitely no shortage of 'yote, and fox tracks again.
  20. Thanks. I still do it the tough way. No dogs, kick the brush, and get torn to pieces. I've actually seen quite a few that way, though.
  21. Bagged these 2 cottontails today with the .410 single shot. Had to really work for them, but it paid off in the long run. They're there, you just have to be willing to get torn up to find them!
