Sorry to hear about your lousy season. This is why I refuse to hunt public land. I hunt on private land so I won't have to deal with yahoos like that. For what its worth my season wasn't successful either. Getting a new smoke pole as a gift was the best part of my season.

I have the Bushnell trophy cam. Takes great day and night pictures and lasts 1 yr on AA batteries. I'm going to buy another after Christmas or I may build my own streaming camera with cellular router for next year or I may do both.

No worries. Its not always about the kill. I felt good being able to get out on my stand more times than last year and being one with nature. There is always next year. I'm gonna be looking at end of season sales myself in the next couple of weeks.

My season is done. I'm making tag soup for dinner LOL. What an interesting season I had this year. Didnt shoot a turkey or a deer. I saw so many turkey and deer during the preseason. But barely saw anything decent during the firearms or muzzy seasons. Gave up my DMP but ended up with a new toy for muzzy season. Unfortunately I didn't get to shoot it. Good news is my bro in law saw the big 10 I've been after all season still running the does so he's still around. If he survives the winter he'll be massive next year and even better news bow opens Oct 1st. Just think only 10 1/2 months until then. Something to look forward to. I will definitely be a frequent visitor to this site to ease my hunting withdrawal.

Saw nothing this morning. Came back in for large cup of hot cawfee and warming up by the wood stove. The North wind was just too much - eyes tearing and gave me a headache. Rather have snow falling or on the ground Any one have the phone number to the Miser brothers??
