    I never noticed any noise until I shot one day wearing my hearing aids . I could hear a noise with the metal Ultra Nok . I don't hear the D-Loop . I said ........ I don't hear the D-Loop !

    One of my grandsons qualified for the sectionals in swimming . The meet was at the Webster Schroeder School this past Wednesday . There were swimmers from many different schools . Around 14 teams with at least a dozen swimmers on each team . What struck me as funny is the fact that there were Life Guards on duty . I imagine it's a necessity but I still think it's funny ! Uhhhhh , maybe I should have posted this on FaceBook !

    The string loop eliminates the wear and tear on the string where the release is connected . The loop takes the abuse and can be easily changed . http://www.bowhunting.net/artman/publish/ConradDLoop.shtml

    I used to use a metal Ultra Nok . I could hear a "ka-zinggggg" when I released my arrow . I bought some packaged string loop material at Dicks tied the loop and used it for a bit but the string material was real limp . I bought some stiffer loop material at Gander Mt and tied a loop . It has held up great for a couple of years . I was able to find pictures of the tying instructions on one of the hunting sites . I will never go back to shooting off the string !

    The State land is for everyone's use , not just hunting & trapping . Hikers , sight-seeing folks , etc have a right to be there . What do you see as it's "intended use" ?

    I "unfriended" a couple of folks that used FaceBook like a Diary . I didn't want to hear their life stories play by play !

    I had considered the BowJax before but didn't want to unstring the Compound to install them . I bought a few Sims String Leeches when Wally World had their end of season clearance . I will also look into the other suggestions . Thanks for the replies !

    I have a FaceBook account and maintain minimal friends . I got it so I could upload old Family Pictures , etc that my sister had . I get recommendations for friends but don't add them . I block out a lot of stuff that I could care less about . People forget that FaceBook is a Public Site and it's no place to be telling your life story !

    I tried the Cat Whiskers on a couple bows and never liked them . I switched to the Sims Limb Saver String Leeches . It seems like they only last a few hundred shots . Does anyone use anything else and what is your opinion of another type / brand of string silencer ?

    The vidio quality isn't that great . If the weather gets a bit better , It only has 2X magnification . I will see about shooting the bow outside . I wouldn't recommend the purchase of the EPIC camera to anyone .
