    It is quite common to go 1/4 mile west of my son's property and see 30+ deer in a field in the summertime . The farmer won't let anyone hunt that property though .

    My son , who lives in Honeoye Falls , called to tell me that he had 18 deer in his back yard . He said the most he had previously was about 12 .

    It's hard to believe that someone would have so little regard for a person's life !

    Scenario #1: I am standing in my garage shooting my bow at a butt that is less than 500 feet (perhaps even within a few feet) from a neighbors house. Am I legal? I fired from inside my own building (which I guess we have determined is legal), but the arrow winds up within the illegal zone around my neighbors house. Doc ----- I don't think anyone said the above was legal . I believe it was just admitted that it was done .

    Grow --- when my son was preparing a food plot in Italy Valley , he needed a lot of Lime . Some of the Country Max stores will cut you a lower price if you buy 25+ bags . Check with the local farmers as it's even cheaper to buy it by the loose truckload .

    Back in the 60's there was a movie called "The Hustler " with Paul Neuman staring as Fast Eddie Felson . One of the guys at work started calling me Fast Eddie and it caught on . There are guys I havn't seen in 20+ years that still call me thet . After putting on weight over the years , I was thinking about dropping the "s" from the name ... not !

    I have shot the bow in my yard . Proper draw is to hold the bow straight out from you and draw back . I hold the bow down at about 45 degrees downward and draw as I start to raise the bow . That way I don't launch an arrow . It's not the proper way to draw a bow but it's the safest .

    I called the Wayne county Health Dept several years ago to find out if I could get innoculated against the Lyme disease . They said they didn't have enough instances where folks in our County had had gotten it . I asked how many people had to get it before shots would be available and she didn't know . Our tax dollars at work !

    I ordered 100 of the Northern White Cedar ( Arborivite ) early January .

    Went to Mass at 8:30 . I asked the Deacon to keep the Homily short because the game starts at 6 pm . Got a big laugh out of him .
