    Yes I thought the same.Wind was a killer this year.It did seem like every day was out the wind kicked in about mid-morning.

    I have found a number of fresh rubs the second week of gun season this year.

    I found some really big rubs on some really big trees but thats it.I saw no horns whats so ever all season.

    I have not seen horns all year.Only saw 2 doe on Saturday opening weekend.I saw a coyote too.Have not seen a deer again till last SaturdaySaw a few doe again no horns.Hope this weekend I see something to shoot at.

    I saw some doe this weekend.First deer I have seen since opening day.Still no horns but I found another tree that was rubbed real good.I thought it was pretty cold.We have 1 more weekend so lets see.

    Saw a few doe on Friday nothing on Saturday.It was cold a few snow flurries.Not sure if I can get up state next weekend.So my gun season might be over.Oh well I well start to get ready for next season.LOL

    I have only seen 2 doe all season so I am going Friday and Saturday.This is the worst season in a long time.But as was stated goota be out there not gonna happen home.

    I was talking to a guy who swears the DEC released mt.lions in the woods back in the 70's and 80's.He actually got angry when I questioned him on the subject.

    Happened to me in Monticello one day I went down a dirt mud road at one point the car sank in mud so deep I had a hard time opening the doors.When we finally pulled the car out,my whole exhaust system got torn off.OOPS
