    If the o nut at the top of the forend is off.The forend should slide off.I don't think you have to take the slide off the gun.This might be a dumb question but you did remove the barrel first?

    I asked an dec agent up in Roscoe in a check point yesterday.He told me if you are drunk or being rude there would be a problem. he himself had no problem.That said he knows some agents that would take issue with a person with a flask and a gun.Times are changing things are differnt today.His words.

    I picked up 2 empty soda cans and a ton of snickers wrappers this weekend.I hunt on private land.And there were only 3 of us hunting this year.So I not only have a tresspasser issue I have a slob also.If I do run into him or her there well be some harsh words...............

    I just got home.Spent two days in the woods and saw nothing.wind was howling today but I stood in all day.Me and a friend both saw nothing.No snow by us a very lite dusting.Well be out next Friday and Saturday.Hope you all have better luck then I am having.

    This is why I stay on the ground.We built some real nice blinds on the ground.Be careful guys.I hate to hear stories like this.

    We took 2 doe late yesterday.I missed a coyote man they run fast.So no bucks yet.Lots of rubs no chasing as far as I can tell.

    Just got back home.We saw no antlers we did take 2doe well be heading back up Late Thursday to hunt the weekend.

    I put 4 in my rifle and carry an extra mag with 3 more rounds.I also carry a revolver with 6 rouds.

    This year marks my 30th year deer hunting and I have never found a shed.Nice going.

    The Kindle has gotten a much better write up.I like the looks and feel of the Nook myself.But it is not for me ha ha.Takes weeks to read a book.Can't stay awake.LOL

    I am looking into the Kindle or the Nook.Its a computer for books you download the book read and erase it then download another.My wife well read a book a night if its good.They are not alot of money and I well get her some other stuff to open.
