People, being completely human, may have different opinions about what is right and wrong. But the reality of the situation is some things are right and some are wrong. The people who intentionally misjudge things, do so for their own convenience. BTW, the death penalty is earned! The brutality of most murders is nowhere near simply putting the murderer to sleep. If you know you will get the death penalty for committing certain crimes, why should anyone feel wrong about executing you? What amazes me is some people support abortion and oppose the death penalty. That has to be some form of mental illness.

Any one of these would be an upgrade. Just because you jam the bullet down the barrel with a stick, doesn't mean it's a real muzzle loader.

I live in America and legislators do all of this to buy votes and remain in office. That is their only concern. They can't even spell ethics and certainly don't give a tinker's damn about it.

Just the fact the SCOTUS had to do legal gymnastics to say it falls under the privacy issue, should be enough to make any intelligent human being agree it's wrong! Besides, Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, was very clear her motive was to control the population of minorities in America. That's a FACT! How is that not wrong? I disagree. Legislators cannot legislate ethics. God help us all if they ever try to, because they will wind up banning all hunting in the end. As far as a few idiots making us all look bad, why is it a few radical Muslims cannot make them all look bad? Or a few radical animal rights activists, or looting blacks, or bad cops? But a few crazed shooters can make all gun owners suspect and a few bad hunters can make us all look bad. Why? Because we allow it to happen, that's why. This PC crap protects all who the leftist want protected and is used like a club against all who they want to demonize. If we allow it to happen, we can only blame ourselves.

Maybe we hunters should demand attendants fill our tanks for us like they did in the old days. Self serve sucks. It doesn't lower the price either. They pump it for you in NJ and it's about .50 cents a gallon less there.

Legality has never been the standard of ethical behavior. Some folks may choose to do things because they are legal, but that does not make them ethical. Ethics are often personal. If baiting bears or deer is legal, and that's how you hunt, there is nothing wrong with it. To you, it is ethical. Anyone who chooses not to do it can say it's not sporting, but has no right to call it unethical. IMHO, the only thing that is unethical is knowingly violating the law, or doing something that you personally feel is not sporting. Ethics are methods that make you feel sporting, even when nobody is around to see what you did.

Binocs are a better solution to that problem. If you get a nice buck in close before you see it and your scope is on a high power, you may not even find it in the scope in the second or two the deer gives you before it runs.

If a black cop shot this kid, at least they couldn't yell racism. They would just yell police brutality. I heard a pundit yesterday suggest only black police officers be allowed to work in black neighborhoods. Today, an elected officer of a black police officers assn said, "Hell No! Making us work in the most dangerous places would be grounds for a discrimination lawsuit!" I have to agree with him.

Ruger discontinued the original 44 Mag Carbine with the tubular magazine years ago, but they now make a 44 Mag Carbine with a rotary magazine and a bolt that is more like the one in the Mini-14 and Mini-Thirty. They now call it the Deerfield Carbine. I shot a deer with the old carbine in 44 Mag Carbine at close range in thick cover years ago. It did the job just fine. The minute these sub-humans go from peaceful protests to violence, they should be met with violence. They are doing this because they know there will not be a violent response, because they have the media and the President portraying them as victims. They are not victims! How is it that only blacks in America are allowed to get away with this type of behavior? We cannot allow people to break the law and attack police in the street when they are confronted with arrest. Tell it to the Judge! If they really want equality, they should expect to get shot when they try to attack a cop or take a cop's gun. What they are asking for is the right to resist arrest if they feel it isn't justified. That's completely insane, as are all of these unintelligent mongrels.

The whole point of the new agenda is that it now Can, and probably WILL, be happening. I don't believe it is advisable to wait for it to happen before gun owners protest it's potential.

JRM, if the police go to a home to confiscate handguns or Black Rifles that were registered to a dead man, they come with a warrant to search for ALL guns in the home, because by not turning in the registered ones, the occupants are now considered felons, who cannot own ANY guns now. ALL the guns in the home will be confiscated and ALL the occupants will be charged with possession of firearms illegally. That's why this police action is so shocking. It's reach is so far, it will allow the state to make felons out of more gun owners, thereby totally eliminating their 2nd Amendment rights. And it's all LEGAL.

I understand the point he's trying to make, but I don't agree with it. I don't believe people in the middle convert to anti-hunters because of a few bad apples. Those in the middle don't hate people who kill animals. That's why they are OK with hunting. They do, however, hate azzholes, no matter what group they belong to. They are not going to become anti's simply because they run into a few jerks that hunt, because they are usually open minded enough to believe the rest of the hunters out there are good people. Self policing is good,but only if kept within the hunting community itself. If we are going to start publicizing all of the bad apples for the general public to view, thinking we are helping our own image, I think we'll find our own image will be the one that suffers from it, because the anti's will do their best to lump us all together for political gain.

You miss the point Belo. You can eliminate all of the slobs, but the anti-hunters are still coming for you because you kill animals. The ranks of the anti's may not be affected by those in the middle, and some in the middle may be the type to generalize all hunters, bikers, muslims, gun owners, etc., into the same category. Regardless of their views, as a hunter, you are a target of hate, and always will be.

JRM, the timing is about the fact they are now going to come to the home of the deceased and confiscate the guns. That was never done before.
