  1. I have had luck with the lucky bird myself. I'm heading out in about 20 mins. myself. Good luck!!!
  2. Thousands of birds around the three rivers area. Never seen so many birds this time of the year. We have seen a lot of snows to. We just can't seem to pick the right field lol. Once the rivers freeze up they all head to the finger lakes.
  3. let me know when you get some done. I ain't skeered! Has to have a comfy seat though. I would try to incorporate the type seats that the millenium stands have.
  4. Make sure you get a quality set of string and cables. You will have nothing but problems if not. I suggest JBK Bowstrings. That's what I use on all my bows and everyone elses. If your going to take it somewhere I suggest a actual proshop and not a big box store
  5. It's not really rocket science if you have a press. The best thing to do is take pics of everything before removing strings for a referance. The tricky part is getting everything back to specs. once the new strings are on. If you were closer to me I would tell you to bring it into the shop and I'll take care of ya. If you have any ?'s feel free to ask I can walk you through it.
  6. Thank-You everyone for the prayers. Unfortunetly my Father has passed away to a better place. He no longer has to suffer. My Father was a great archer and outdoorsman that inspired my Brother and I since we were kids. He put a stick and string in our hands when we were very young which lead us to our great passion for archery and the outdoors. Again, Thank-you everyone that has sent a prayer and even know I don't personally know any of you, it really means alot.
  7. I'm wishing to spend 1 last Christmas with my Father who was transfered to ICU last night. He has been battling Prostate cancer for 10 years now and has taking a toll on my Brother, Sister and I. As long as there's gifts under the tree for the little ones that's all that matters.
  8. In. I'm going to win it on public land with a gun too!
  9. Only rain here in 7f area. supposed to be warm here for the upcomng weekend which sucks for hunting but good for work. I have 2 metal roofs to get done then it can snow all it wants.
  10. Your a better man than me. I would have dragged him by his scruff to the dec and then had him prosecuted to the fullest. Some people just have no common sense and sometimes need it beat into them. I wouldn't let it get to you. You know your right and he's wrong. Get back in the woods and enjoy!
  11. In the 15+ yrs. I've been bowhunting I only have had 1 mature buck come into my scent bomb.( He is now hanging on the wall in the office) I have had numerous scrub bucks come into it. I believe being as scent free as you can and not leaving any scent out is the way to go. All it takes is for a mature buck to bust a hunter using scent 1 time and he is now educated. This goes for grunt calls, estrous bleets ect... Once educated, good luck trying to bring them in.
