    Yeah a lot of ours were just home made, slapped together. After the Rupp burned up we salvaged the frame (all that was left) put on a seat, tires motor and what ever else from our friends bikes and we were up and running in like 2 days. Our one neighbor "the hag" was pissed

    Rupp mini bikes!! Talk about a blast from the past. Growing up I lived in the city but our neighborhood bordered a huge park. Me and my friends would ride mini bikes all summer. (it was fun dodging the police, who really didn't care but had to respond to calls from neighbors) One time my brother was riding our old Rupp around the back yard when it suddenly burst into flames. He jumped off and the thing just burned. The garden hose did no good (surprise) Fire Dept. showed up with police and every neighbor in the area.

    Just to keep it going....and to be a pain LOL!... Say a tree has apples on it but none have dropped yet. If I shake the tree, causing apples to fall all over the ground under it. Then I shoot a deer that was feeding under that tree. Did I bait??

    I hang them by the back legs. Never even thought, or heard of, the respect thing. Just make a good clean kill then hang it how ever you want.

    Yeah..when I lost my old hunting spot a while back it was 2 weeks before bow opened. Me and a buddy showed up to clear and set stands. The owner, who we knew and sometimes hunted with for 30+ years, just walked up to us and said "sorry boys no more hunting. I leased my land off" then he just walked away. As he was walking off he added "don't let me catch you in there". It was like we were two strangers who just decided to stop and walk onto his property. Stuff like this sucks!

    Last Saturday I had a buck sniffing out a trail that a few does had come down earlier. He wasn't hot on the trail but he stayed right on it sniffing the whole way. I'm thinking this week end might be pretty good.

    Explain the doe tag thing and see if would at least let you hunt when the other guy isn't. It's worth a try.

    I have always wondered about that myself. Gander Mtn. has an entire section of feed and attractants. I think if the product is considered a mineral it is O.K. to use, but a lot of the stuff, in Gander, is obviously feed.

    Man that stinks. Sounds like the land owner made a deal with someone. It happened to me a few years ago with property I had been hunting for 30 years, so I know how you feel.

    I hear ya. I use to do my own for years but it finally got old. It took me all day then my back would ache for a week. My guy does a pretty good job ( maybe not as trimmed up as I would) and Im sure I get my own meat back. But for piece of mind you're better off doing it your self. Getting lazy in my old age.

    We have a ton of them upstate (north of Syracuse) I think they're turkey vultures. Saw a bunch just the other day picking at something dead, out in a field. Nasty.

    In 2004 he backed a federal law to abolish right to carry laws, nation wide. Think that was uummmm, carry the three....minus two .... uuummm eight years ago. Then supported a ban in D.C. on guns in the home for self defense in 2008, got to take my shoes off to be sure but I think that was like 4 years ago.

    He supported a ban on the sale and transfer of all semi auto guns( pistols and long guns) in 98. ...I mean Obama not Culvercreek.

    The first 5 or 6 deer that I got with a bow were taken with Satellites!!! They were great! I still have 2 new ones left but they are 125grn. I shoot 100 grns. Maybe I can sell them as antiques. LOL!

    That seems to be the left response every time someone brings up what Obama might do in a 2nd term. Answer.... no stricter gun bills have been signed while Obama has been in office. But the thought that it can not happen in a 2nd term, especially given his gun control record before taking office, is wrong. This is the part where you call me stupid...moron...far right and oh yeah Racist!!
