You might have time. I was out this morning. Watched a nice buck make a scrape. A little while later he chased a doe by but gave up on her pretty quick. He stopped and just started feeding. It might be just starting. By the end of the week it might be on fire. Good luck

Hey!! I shot a nice 8 one time and when I got him back it was my cape with someone else's 8 point rack on it!! Big deal I still had something to hang on the wall!!!! Just kidding LOL!! But I think he's serious! WOW!

He's wearing the uniform of the new black panthers. It's not just some black guy in a beret. They are a racist hate group. Confirmed. Racist little punks like that would not intimidate me either but they will intimidate some. Thats the point.

I have always heard that it's too light for deer but I would bet that if you got some good loads and kept shots at under 75 yards, it will work OK. I have shot them before and at 50 yards they are pretty accurate. Those original WWII carbines can bring a good dollar. Ever consider selling it and buying something with a scope that would work a little better?

if it can go wrong it will. I've dropped my bow out of the tree twice luckily with out too much damage happening to the bow. One of the times I climb down (using a climber, so you have to strap and unstrap...) I grab my bow and realize that I left my rope in my pack, which was still in the tree. Climb up get rope, climb down , climb back up, get set up again, drop quiver with all my arrows, climb down get quiver, climb back up sit the rest of the morning all sweaty and pissed of. Saw nothing! Big surprise !! Glad its not just me. LOL

I have no idea what it is. My father and grandfather never hunted but for some reason I always loved being in the woods. when I a little kid my father would bring home old outdoor life magazines from work. I would look through them all the time and drool over the photos of big bucks. When I was old enough, my fathers friend took me deer hunting. That was over 30 years ago and I have been obsessed with it ever since.

Nikon Pro staff all the way. I have a few of them. Real good scopes. A 3-9 x40 will run you just under $150.00 even less if on sale.

I tried those "copper solid" slugs, but didn't like them. They didn't fly that great out of my gun and the one slug I recovered out of a deer never even started to expand. In my rifles I shoot the copper jacketed stuff (mostly Rem. green box) Thats not to say that all of the non lead stuff is bad, but if they make it manditory I bet the price goes through the roof.

Im use to use Chevys then i switched to Nissan about 4 years ago,,,seems to put them down a little faster. LOL nice deer.

What phade said. Short bursts ..Blaa--blaa rather than Blaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Seems to work the best. I like the "Heat bleat" mouth call better than the can. Its easier to control the length and volume of the call.

I don't bird hunt much anymore but I use to do a lot of it. Light 12ga. loads of #7 1/2 out of an IC choke worked pretty good for me.
