yeah.....good one with the life guard chair......can u imagine watching that thing come in.....that picture was taken by a couple of local guys who were out after the salmon that are usually caught just behind Dome Island on LG at that time of the yr.......the pic was the front page of a bi-weekly newspaper called the chronicle...here in the area.. I cut it out to show some freinds and could simply just " not throw it away "..........therefore I scanned it....when someone started this thread.....about making it.........I immediately thought about this buck....hoped u all would get a giggle........... not only does Lake George have monster fish swimmin around in it.......getta a load of this guy........1 mile out in the middle and in about 200ft of water.....this pic was taken in late October of 2011.......I'm guessin he had enough of rifle season in Warren County cause he was on his way to Essex's....... Wonder if he made it thru the season...........

an article I read awhile back said moose population was approaching 800 in up state NY....I've yet to see one however there are multiple sightings in the Lake george area.....some with photo's in local papers ...guessing their moving west from VT and NH. The older fella that owns alot of property across the street from my tract of land in Lake Luzerne NY, claims he has seen a bull a couple of times on his land and it was a spike horn.....he said the top of his ears were 8ft off the ground...and was not at all bothered by this guy's presence......good chance that was a rub... where were you 315 hunter in the ADK's this last wknd.......your in my back yard.....6 million acres strong...........and yet I did not see one buck this year.........just alot of beautiful country side...

not much meat on a bird........that's why I don't shoot them.......American symbol or not.............I see those Eagles fly up the river every other day....what a shame for that one......hope you find the shooter,and good luck......with that.....maybe someone was expressing the way they feel about what's going on with this country.............sad story....
